Known Limitations
General
- The following chat project fields are currently protected from modification and their values are not yet editable:
- ConversationId
- ConversationName
- ConversationPlatform
- ConversationType
- EditCount
- EventId
- FileCount
- FileNames
- HasEdits
- LastEditedDate
- ParentEventId
- Reactions
- SourceId
- Imported chat message bodies formatting limited to plain text with line breaks.
- Inline images are not scaled down in the conversation viewer.
- Inline images in the conversation viewer may not be displayed in the original position matching the native chat client.
Microsoft Teams - HTML
- Content from some Teams Apps (e.g. Approvals, Praise, Updates, Loop) might not be accessible.
- “Record a video clip” content might not be accessible.
- Message edits that do not change the message content might be present in the imported chat data.
- Shared channels are exported as a General channel of a separate Team instead as a channel in the original team.
- The first channel of each Team is exported from MS as 'General'- even if user named it differently.
- PST export option (Export files in a compressed (zipped) folder) is not supported.
Microsoft Teams – Graph API
- Deleted channel posts and their replies are not accessible.
- Self-conversations (notes) are not accessible.
- Conversations with external users are not accessible.
- Private teams might not be accessible.
- Some chat tab attachments (e.g. Whiteboard) might not be accessible.
- Content from some Teams Apps (e.g. Approvals, Praise, Updates, Loop) might not be accessible.
Slack – eDiscovery Export
- Message attachments might not be accessible if the backup file has been generated over a month ago.
- Slack Canvas contents might not be accessible.
Slack - API
- Information about deleted messages is not accessible.
Google - Takeout
- Some emoji in reactions and messages bodies are displayed incorrectly on Windows 10 or older.
- Chat participants might not have e-mail addresses specified.
- Each Bot (even with the same name) is considered a separate Bot. E.g. there could be many DailyBots or GIPHY Bots.
- Content posted by Bots might not be accessible.
RSMF - Export
- Message reactions and edits can only be exported from data imported into ReadySuite using the Chat Project feature.
- Multiple message attachments can only be exported from data imported using the Chat Project feature.
- RSMF custodian field is set based on the first message in the batch.
- If you do not use the Chat Project to import messages, then exporting RSMF load files the following features are not supported:
- Edits
- Reactions
- Read/Delivery Reciepts
- Only one attachment per document/event
