Script Editor menu bar

The Script Editor menu bar contains the following commands:

File

  • New: Creates a new script.
  • Open: Opens an existing script from Recent Scripts, This PC, or Browse using the Open dialog box.
  • Save: Saves the current script.
  • Save As: Saves the current script with a different name and/or at a new location.

Build

  • Build: Builds the script.
  • Start: Builds and run the script.
  • API Reference: Opens the Compild.EDD.Scripting API Reference.

View

  • Hide Navigation: Removes the Script list pane from view.
  • Find/Replace: Opens the Find/Replace pane.

  • Error List: Opens the Error List pane and itemizes errors preventing the script from running.

Library

  • Reload Library: Refresh the ReadySuite script library.

To open a script

  1. In the Script Editor script list (left pane), click the script you want to open.
  2. To view additional scripts, hover over the script you want to preview.
  3. To open additional scripts, double-click the scripts you want to open.
